A long finish

As I said before I am easily sidetracked on project. I have decided to make a cross stitch for a friend's wedding gift. I picked up the one I am planning on making and started looking for my scroll frame. I was quite surprised to see that I has a small needle point 3/4 completed on it. Thinking back it would have been left for about 5 years. So I made quick work out of finishing it and today I picked up a simple frame for it.

I think the frame makes so much difference. (if you ignore the flash reflection on the glass) not sure why I stopped working on it in the first place. Oh well it's done now.

I also made this small wall hanging. I saw this on Andrea's blog a while back and knew that I wanted to make it. What I didn't realise from looking at her blog was how small it was, is only about 9 by 10.5".

I had to unpick on of the little quilts as I was working on it while watching a hockey game, lets just say that didn't work so well. Luckily I was able to fix it. I just love how it turned out.

Good for you on finishing an old project and a new little one, too! I did the same sort of, in looking for some pieces of a current project I found some old blocks that I'd forgotten about so after finishing the top I was working on I finished that one, too.

Boy do I have a stack of tops here to quilt at the moment!
