Fun Mail

I have decided that I wanted to try using a jelly roll, I think this will be interesting as I normally don't even use fabric from the some line. I normally like that scrapper look, even on my planned quilts. I knew the pattern I wanted to try so I have order every thing I need. I think it may be a while before I work on this, as I seem to be on a small quilt kick at the moment.

At guild on Monday we started work on a charity quilt. I worked on a few blocks last night and thought I would share them with you. I was happy when DH saw it and like it as we are trying to make it masculine quilt. Such a simple block, I think I may need to add this to the growing list of quilts I'm planning on making.

This is lovely fabric you chose to go with your Jelly Roll. I hope you enjoy working with it. I enjoy mine.

The charity quilt is fantastic!

Your Jelly Roll looks intriguing.
I like the masculine idea too.

Is the jelly roll Decadent Vicorian? I am guessing that from the extra fabric you bought. The On A Roll book you have is a great one for using jelly rolls. Which pattern are you choosing? Can't wait to see more!

I just used a Decadent Victorian jelly roll and charms to make a table runner and mats for my livingroom tables. This is such a pretty line! The tablemats are done but I have a little bit of handwork left on the table runner.

Can't wait to see how you use your Decadent Victorian jelly roll.
