This weekend my guild had a in-city retreat. One of the girls found a great new location with a big bright sunny room. I was not able to go both days but did manage to go for a big part of Saturday. It was a super fun day. I had to leave early as going out for supper for DH birthday (which will be this week) and had friends coming over for a games night. It was a long, but very enjoyable day.
I started by working on the little nine patches I shared last week. I made them into a mini split nine patch top. A while ago the group did this as an example of what you can do with a charm pack. I think you can tell which one is mine :) I love seeing how different fabric can make a pattern look.
I also worked on my guild BOM, but more about that next post.

I did not think of making split nine-patches into a mini quilt...hmmm, more inspiration!
I enjoy seeing patterns in different colorways as well. It's a great way to learn... It's difficult for me since I tend to see things only one way.
cool! in enjoy that
i like it...:)) nice work!
