I finally manage to get some quilting time today. Not long, but enough time to put together the top of this wall hanging.
The two flower blocks were made some time ago by myself and a friend as part of a learn to hand applique class. I had kept them knowing at some point I would have a use for them. The rest of the fabric was also in my stash. I wanted to make a wall hanging to hang over the baby crib. I hope to get this quilted in the next week or so. It was so nice to sit and do a little bit of sewing.

It is sooo pretty. I remember how hard it was to snatch crafting time, when my babies were small!
The flowers look really nice together like that. Can't wait to see the quilting.
